Drop in craft is for children 2 to 8 years old. This is a casual program. you stop by the library any time of the day and do a small craft. Come to the library for a visit once per week for 5 weeks.

Programs on Mondays November 18 - December 16, 9:30 am to 6:45 pm

Local author Kathryn Blystone Watkins , who has written the Log Cabin Stories: Falicity the Quarter Horse: Book 3, will be at Carnegie Public Library on Monday, November 4th from 10am – noon to sign books.

Lego Club

For students ages 7-12. Bring your Legos and build based on a theme. Parents may stay and build with their children. We will meet one Saturday a month for one hour.

Program Times:  November 16 (robots) , December 14 (mazes), January 11 (snowmen) and February 8 (cars) from 10-11 a.m.

We Dig Dinosaurs - Let Sharon from Lisbon prove to you that good stories are not extinct. Dinosaurs do roam in our library books.

Touch a Truck

Come have a hands-on experience with some big working machines. Talk to the people to get to play with them every day. This program will be held in the Kent State parking lot on the corner of 4th and Broadway.

Stuffed Animal Contest

Bring a stuffed animal to the library to try for a prize! Prizes will be awarded for the Coolest, Most Huggable, Most Colorful, Silliest, Scariest, Best Dressed, Most Loved, Most Cheerful, Biggest, and Smallest animals registered, as well as, the Judges Choice.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m., and will end for the judging to start at Noon. Prizes will be announced at 12:30 p.m. One entry per child. Animals can be picked up immediately after the publicity photos of the winners are taken.
