The Library Board of Trustees has a special meeting December 7th at 5:15 pm to discuss moving money for the ODE reimbursing grant.
Join us for Bold Beginning! This is a free school readiness program for parents and children. Activities, gift cards, free books, and lunch to facilitate learning. Programs December 9th and 16th at the East Liverpool Area Community and Learning Center (Trinity Church). Adults who bring their pre-k children will receive a gift card each week. The December 17th program will be "Breakfast with Santa" at the Community Resource Center.

The program is provided by Ohio Department of Education Family and Community Engagement Grant and is administered by the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO). Local partners include Carnegie Public Library, Columbiana Metropolitan Housing Authority, Community Resource Center, East Liverpool Area Community and Learning Center and FISH.
We have joined Indie Author Day on October 8th and are looking for local authors that are interested in participating. We would like to have local authors in for a book signing here at the library. If you have independently published a book, are local to the East Liverpool area, and would like to participate send us a message or give us a call.
The Teen Summer Reading Club begins June 6th and there are two ways to participate.
1. Enter checkout slips for a chance to win weekly prizes. Start returning June 6th.
2. Sample some lifetime fitness activities by signing up to attend programs held every Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Prizes include pizza from local businesses, YMCA passes, and sports themed items. Slips must include a name and phone number.

The Adult Summer Reading Club begins June 1st. No sign up is necessary and all books in the adult collection are eligible, including downloadable audio books, e-books and CD audio books.

Just return books and drop in the checkout slip with your name and phone number at the Circulation Desk on the main floor. For digital materials just write your name and phone number on a slip of paper and drop in the basket.You must have a Carnegie Public Library card to participate.
Drawings held each Monday (after June 1st) for 6 weeks.
Library employees and members of their household are not eligible for prizes.
Due to an update to our checkout software, the "My Account" section of the online catalog and the ability to place holds on materials in-person, over the phone, and via the online catalog will be temporarily suspended beginning Monday, April 11, and will continue through Tuesday, April 12. Holds can be placed again and the catalog will return to normal on Wednesday, April 13.
