Building Open

The Library is offering inside “grab and go” services. Our occupancy is limited at this time for social distancing. The only entrance will be at our front doors. If you need the elevator, ring the bell at the door facing the Mary Patterson building and someone will be along to help you.   Maintain a safe distance of at least 6' from others including staff. All patrons must wear a mask. Curbside will still be available if you do not wish to come inside.

Coronavirus has been the subject of many recent news and social media reports. Your health and safety is important to us. We know that information is a key to good health and that sometimes reliable information is hard to find. That’s why we have taken the time to assemble a list of trusted sources to help you find dependable and up-to-date information from local, state, and national perspectives about the COVID-19 outbreak.

Hold Redelivery for eBooks

A new option is now available for holds in our digital book collection: hold redelivery (or the “Deliver later” option). This feature gives patrons more control over their digital holds, so they can borrow and read titles when it’s most convenient for them. Go to https://ohdbks.overdrive.com/ with your library card to borrow digital items.

Wi-Fi Hotspots

The Library has added more Mobile Hotspots for adult patron use. Adult patrons, with library cards in good standing, will be able to check out Hotspots for two weeks at a time with a limit of one per household. The Hotspots connect to the T-Mobile network and allow the users to connect phones, laptops, tablets, and other devices to the internet.

We Are Open, Curbside Pick-up Available

The library is open for materials browsing and computer use. Masks are recommended for unvaccinated patrons while in the building.
Curbside pick-up is still available. Call 330-385-2048 to request items. Call again when your arrive. We will place the bagged items at the bottom of our back stairs on Drury Lane (facing the former Cooper's Insurance). Returned items should be placed in the book bin either outside or inside. AV materials must be returned inside.
